Chocolate Fountains

One of the greatest things, I think, about weddings these days is that at the reception there usually is a chocolate fountain! At the wedding I went to yesterday, there was a dark chocolate, milk chocolate and a white chocolate fountain! They had marshmallows, fruit, and cookies to dip in the chocolate of your choice! As you can imagine this is an endless source of pleasure.

Which chocolate would you choose?

As a caterer, I can easily say that when decorating a venue for a reception there is no greater, or more extravagant focal point than an elegantly staged chocolate fountain. At a reception, a chocolate fountain makes a huge impact in staging a room. It is like an edible centerpiece! I have also found it to be quite a conversation piece and a real ice breaker. And the really great thing... They are not just for weddings! So indulge...

The selection of a chocolate fountain is always a beautiful attraction for the audience at even the most sophisticated parties. A chocolate fountain may not be good to own; the best idea may be to rent one, because more than likely you will only use it for really big events that may not happen often.

What Chocolate Is Best For A Fountain

A chocolate fountain may be rented at any catering service, if one is not owned by the individual who is in need of one. Chocolate is heated in the basin, and then carried to the top of the fountain via a rotating internal cork screw. The grocery list for your chocolate fountain should definitely include some type of cocoa product if you're going make chocolate. Many chocolate fountain rental companies should follow all of the environmental health regulations, however it is still best to ask to see certificates of hygiene.
